Is my anxiety causing these stomach issues or is it something worse?

So… I’ve been dealing with stomach pain, bloating, and nausea for months now. At first, I thought it was just stress (I have anxiety), but it’s not going away. I can’t even enjoy my meals anymore without feeling sick afterward. Could anxiety really mess with your stomach this much? Or should I be worried about something more serious like an ulcer or IBS? I’m debating if I should just see a gastro specialist or wait it out. Anyone else’s anxiety completely wreck their digestion like this?

  1. Yes, anxiety can definitely mess with your stomach, causing pain, bloating, and nausea. However, since it’s been persistent, it’s a good idea to see a gastro specialist to rule out conditions like ulcers or IBS. Don’t wait it out—getting a professional opinion can help you find relief.

  2. since this has been dragging on for so long, it’s probably a good idea to consult a gastro specialist. It could be something like IBS or an ulcer, and getting a proper check-up might give you some clarity. No point in waiting if it’s making everyday life tough!
